I tried this based on a recommendation from a friend.... I like the mascara, it does lengthen and volumize..... but it smells. It smells like roses. So for the first 2 hours of the day after applying, I can smell roses coming from my eyelashes. I'm ambivalent as to whether or not this is disturbing me enough to not buy again......

i loved this mascara, i actually used the nonwaterproof one and i think it is one of the best i have ever used it gives my lashes that false lash effect i love and people ask me at least twice a day if im wearing falsies and i loveeed that, it comes off easy also , gives awesome lenght
Pros:cheap, it came with a great liner, lenghtens like crazy, good volume Cons:yo have to use 2 coats :P

Inexpensive yet very nice!!! I love the soft brush. I find that this mascara is perfect for a subtle look, great for everyday wear. Doesn't clump much at all. Overall my favorite mascara to use on a daily basis! I would definitely recommend this product!

This mascara sucks big time..I first noticed this product in a British Magazine and couldn't wait til it came to the states..Well it did ..I tried it and hate it very much...
I get home late at night and don't want to wash my makeup off so I use a towelette makeup remover..This stuff didn't budge at all...waste of money..You have to use warm water and massage this stuff off..WHAT????? MASSAGE IT OFF..that's ok...it's at the bottom of my makeup collection and it's staying there...
Pros:none at all...none I REPEAT..NONE... Cons:TAKING IF OFF WITHOUT USING WATER...won't budge at all unless you r using warm water..
I believe in drugstore mascaras. I have bought so many, and have come across quite a few good and great ones in the past. I got the Chanel Inimitabel as a sample size, and didn´t think it would live up to the hype (like so many high priced mascaras do..I think usually drugstore ones do an equally great job).
I was so wrong on this mascara though. It lenghtens better than any drugstore lenghtening mascara I have ever tried, with just one stroke with the wand. AND it gives good volume on top of that. With just two coats (I will try more for a nighttime look) I looked like I was wearing fake lashes. And my lashes were glossy black and shiny.
Pros:lenghtens a great deal, gives good amount of volume. Great brush Cons:pice (but worth every penny IMO)
I love the golden packaging, it makes it classy, and it closes well. I like how the mascara gives me longer lashes, but i do suggest you curl and brush your lashes before applying it, or they won't be well separated. this also due to the amount of product on the brush, i find it's a tad too much than what you need.
Be careful to remove every trace of it, or you'll get a panda eye the next day. It is also not waterproof, it can resist a few drops of water, but no more.
overall this is probably the best mascara i've used so far, and it will remain a holy grail.
I wanted a natural mascara... well this one takes the cake! With a coat or two I have very natural very black looking lashes. No clumps. For my taste... it seems almost too tame. I don't like the brush too much... it doesn't seperate my lashes well and it is bendy like Maybelline Define A Lash... a mascara I also didn't like because of the brush. The formula is a little too "gooky"... uh yea... a little jelly-ish. If I try to build it up for a more dramatic look it gets clumpy and gunky. If I try to brush that mess out... it looks like I didn't even bother putting anything on. It does nothing for volume. The only good thing is it holds my curls... works for a super natural look... and it doesn't flake or smudge. I'm not really enjoying this mascara and I don't think I will ever re-purchase. The original Loreal Voluminous is way better.
I really like this mascara because it gives me the "false lashes" eye look. Although I wear false lashes a lot, my lashes are medium and very thin (natural looking) so the mascara makes my eyes pop and opens them up. gives the lash extensions look even when I'm not wearing falsies. Looks great with my black stila eye pencil for a sexy look. it thickens and lengthens the lashes. Love the fat brush

I wouldn't repurchase this mascara. It did make my lashes look voluminous but I found it too clumpy. The brush is huge and somewhat awkward to work with.
Not a huge fan. Looks beautiful in the commercials, with the gorgeous actresss...but in reality, it is super-clumpy and hard-to-use! Black is not black enough...overall disappointing and kind of expensive!
I got this as a free sample from an Estée Lauder counter. I love this mascara so much! The formula itself is smooth and creamy. I don't get a single clump when I use this. The wand is the right size for my eyes. I get volume and a bit of length with this, and it doesn't weigh my lashes down. The color is a very deep black and doesn't fade. This may very well be my HG mascara! No flaking or smudging throughout the day. It does need a little more effort to wash off, but it isn't super difficult. Just a little stubborn. :) I would definitely recommend this mascara.

This probably one of the worst mascaras I've tried! It did absolutely nothing for my lashes, and it flaked like crazy. There were flecks of mascara all around my eyes, and it hurt when it got in my eyes! Not pleasant at all. :(
I also dislike the packaging. It's just too bulky.
Ok, so let me start by saying I knew better. I have never been a fan of Maybelline mascaras in the first place, but maybe it was the huge bright yellow tube that enticed me.... I am so not impressed with this mascara. The wand comes out really gloppy, you have to wipe it onto a napkin before you can even get started or it is clump city. The smell was a turn off too, a really strong mix between a sharpie and and scented ink. (you remember those pens and markers that were supossed to be scented like berries and what not when you were a kid? Yeah, those.) I did not like it at all. The formula takes FOREVER to dry in between coats and clumps easy. Overall opnion is save your money, or go with Cover Girl Lash Blast instead. Much better formula.
Pros:none that i can see, maybe the color is a nice dark black? I am really trying to think of something nice to say.... Cons:Super gloppy formula, strong odor, takes forever to dry, clumps easily.
Don't waste your money on this one. It looked like regular mascara when i put it on, it stayed on when I washed my face however i woke up with black bags under my eyes and my lashes where back to normal.

I was really dissapointed with this mascara. Although it was very black and didn't clump, it didn't lift or curl like it was supposed to which meant that my lashes looked almost invisible. I tried applying lots of layers but still wasn't pleased with the results.
